CORE VALUES
UNDERSTANDING UNIQUENESS
Each person has a different approach, a different background, and a different lifestyle. Understanding each person for who they are, and learning how they communicate is key to a good relationship and helping others reach their potential. By individualizing relationships, providing and acting with care, and consistent communication, we can get the most out of everyone on the team.
SCOUTING
SOMETHING NEW
Fresh off leaving the G League, it felt great to be part of a project working from the ground up like Swish Theory. I was lucky to work with a group of people who are highly knowledgable in basketball, and are trusting in me to work on major projects throughout the cycle. My work on Swish Theory can be found here.
OPERATIONS
A HOLISTIC APPROACH
After graduating from Syracuse, I felt like learning the business of sport was what I needed to better understand what I wanted for myself. Learning how to work globally, law and ethics, marketing, utilizing analytics both on and off the court, social justice tactics and more helped me prepare for the years of sports business ahead.
ANALYTICS
FIRST ANALYTICS COHORT
Coming into Syracuse in 2017, the plan wasn't always to work in sports. However with a Sport Analytics cohort starting that year, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. Syracuse gave me a lot of experience working with large data sets, both in sport analytics courses, and in my mathematics degree.
